Based in the thinking of the genius technologist; he state that, among other things, politics and politicians are obsolete entities and they are operating under an obsolete logic, thus, causing more damage than good in the world and  the people in it./ Muy interesante artículo de Steven Sieden (Un fanático de Buckminster Fuller como nosotros). Basandose en los planteamientos del genial tecnologo; el autor nota que, entre otras cosas, la politica y los politicos son entidades obsoletas y estan operando bajo lógicas anticuadas, por lo tanto estan causando mas mal que bien en el mundo y sus habitantes.

Autodesk has released BIM360 GLUE, a cloud based BIM coordination tool.This is a part of an effort from autodesk, wich started a few years ago, to centralize all their tools in the cloud. / Autodesk ha lanzado BIM360 GLUE, una herramienta de coordinación con tecnología de nube. Esto es parte de un esfuerzo de Autodesk, que comenzó hace unos años, para centralizar cada vez mas la mayor parte de sus herramientas en la nube.

Technologically it seems the logic way to go. Everything its coordinated, no filesharing, no ” proyect versions”, its the BIM ideal, everything centralized./ Tecnológicamente parece el camino logico. Todo estará coordinado, sin lentos y engorrosos intercambios de archivos, sin diferentes “versiones del proyecto”, es el ideal BIM, todo centralizado y compartido.

But it comes with a technology threat.

Archdaly published recently an article about this experimental building , related with the recent destruction of the building. Personally i never heard of this architect or his work. FUTURE: Printing a house/ Imprimiendo una casa.

On this awesome video by YANKO DESIGN, you can see a prototype of a house printing machine. Probably someday in the future we´ll use this kinds of devices to fast production of housing. But, can´t avoid to think this kind of proposals as “too advanced”, basically cause the´re thought under this age logic, and dont consider that technology and society are dynamic. For example, in the video they state that “…people will want to live in mega-cities, cause they promess a better life and wealth…” what about comunication technology, wont they change the working and wealth logic?. I think probably people, as gets more informed, will want to live on small and more humanized towns.
