REVIT: A few notes on 2013 features/ algunas caracteristicas nuevas de la version 2013.

Some of the improvements in Revit 2013:

a) DoubleClicking scroll allow us to do a zoom extent, to all the geometry in the document,  A very important feature from Autocad now in Revit.

b) Multi-segment grids. We can create grids based on different segments, mantaining que same name.

c) The new feature of stairs. we can make stairs based on components. HERE

/Algunas importantes mejoras que tiene la versión 2013 de Revit:

a) Doble click en scroll hace zoom extend, una propiedad muy valiosa de Autocad, ahora en Revit.

b) Ejes multi-segmentos. Podemos crear ejes en base a varios tramos de distintas formas, manteniendo el nombre. Deben formar una cadena continua.

c) La opción de hacer escaleras en base a componentes, que ya habíamos comentado.

Revit 2013 has been released!…. but….I just installed 2012!.

Fue lanzado Revit 2013!…pero….justo había instalado 2012! 

Autodesk has released a few days ago their new version of the more succesfull BIM software of the world. It have a lot of enhancements and few UI changes. We haven´t had the oportunity to test it yet, so i give you an article by David Light (BIM manager at HOK, London) about the improvements and disapointments of the version. By what i have read the main things are:

Autodesk ha lanzado hace unos días su nueva versión del programa BIM mas exitoso del mundo. Tiene muchas mejoras y algunos cambios en la interfaz de usuario.
