NOTICIAS: Festival de cine de arquitectura/ Architecture film festival

En octubre de 2012, en Santiago, se realizará este festival de cine, que se encuentra dentro de una red de festivales del rubro en todo el mundo. Un tema al parecer bastante acotado, pero muy atractivo para todo aquel que estudia o practica la arquitectura. Según los organizadores:

AFFS es una iniciativa para disfrutar del Cine y la Arquitectura.
El cine nos dará un relato, la Arquitectura nos dará un contexto.

AFFS 2012, es una iniciativa que se une al espíritu de eventos similares alrededor de todo el mundo; ciudades importantes de Norteamérica, Europa y África desarrollan festivales que revelan al ciudadano la importancia del paisaje urbano a través del cine, es una forma de entretener y de educar sobre nuestro “patrimonio urbano”.

AFFS quieres ser una mirada fresca a la ciudad; desde Latinoamérica en cuanto a su mestizaje cultural; desde lo cosmopolita por ser reflejo de un país que quiere ser “desarrollado”. Por esto AFFS se permite tematizar el material fílmico disponible en géneros no tradicionales de cine, creando subgéneros “arquitectónicos y urbanos”.

Puedes enviar tu película, las condiciones del envío se publicarán en diciembre de 2011.

This event will open on october 2012, in Santiago. Its connected with other architecture festivals around the world. A very narrow subject, but very appealing for everyone that study, practice or apreciate architecture. Acording to the organizers:

AFFS its a initiative to enjoy movies and architecture. Films will give us a story, architecture, a context.

AAFFS 2012, is an initiative that unites to the spirit of similar events around the world; important cities of: North America, Europe and Africa have festivals that show to the citizen, through films, the importance of urban lansdcape. It´s a way to entertain and educate about our urban heritage.   

AFFS, wants to be a fresh look to the city; from Latin America, about his cultural mixture; from the cosmopolitan view, as a reflect form a country that wants to be “developed”. This is why ASSF take the liberty to sobdivide the filmic material available in non traditional sub-categories, creating “architectonic and urban” sub-genres.
